What are your hobbies? Taking pictures, reading, spending time with friends, people watching, searching Pinterest for lots of good teaching ideas.

What is your favorite elementary school memory? In 4th grade we spent a semester studying how to be a professional. We went on a day-long field trip to “Enterprise City,” which was a fictional town. We spent the whole day doing our jobs and experiencing what it takes to run a city.

What is your hope for your Peabody students? For them to believe in themselves wholeheartedly. To have the conviction that with hard work we are capable of achieving any dream!

What is your favorite Memphis outing? Overton Park – I love to take walks and people watch.

Do you need anything for your classroom? highlighters, colored copy paper, spiral notebooks or composition notebooks.

What is one thing a parent can do to partner with you in educating their child? Read the assigned pages with your students for homework and help them think about the questions. This helps my students internalize and review what has been taught in class.
