The grass is already getting greener in Peabody Elementary’s backyard, thanks to new sod from Memphis City Schools and careful watering by volunteers!
Peabody 1st grader, Maddox Kelley, helps with the watering.
But we have our sights set on even more improvements to a playground that is loved and used by Peabody students and the Cooper-Young community.
Peabody Elementary is getting a NEW shade structure for our playground! It will decrease the temperature by 20 degrees and will reduce UV rays by 90%!
The Peabody PTA is partnering with KaBoom! and the Dr. Pepper/Snapple Group after receiving a $25,000 grant. The PTA is responsible for contributing $10,000 to the Let’s Play project so we are asking for your help.
For every $100 donation, you will receive a personalized 4”x8” brick that will be laid at the playground to show your support.
Order deadline: May 15th!

Thanks for making this neighborhood treasure safer, more attractive, and just all-around fun for kids!
