Peabody Bike Train Friday, March 2nd

All Aboard!

The Peabody Bike Train is making local stops throughout Cooper-Young. Choose a stop that’s close to you. Arrive with your bicycle a few minutes early & wait for the “train” to roll into the station. Then join the “train” & ride with us to school. Parents are encouraged to ride with their children! And the community is also welcome!

7:30 Cox and Evelyn
7:35 Cox and Young
7:40 Walker and Blythe
7:45 Walker and Rembert
7:53 Barksdale and Oliver
7:57 Tanglewood and Oliver
8:05 Arrive at Peabody Elementary!

This is a parent/community-organized event. SCS, Peabody Elementary and Revolutions Bicycle Cooperative are not liable for any portion of the ride, or for any bicycles parked at the school for the day. Parents are responsible for their own children’s safety and their bicycles. Please bring a lock!

Helmets are required for all participants!

This ride is less than 2 miles long and we take a very easy pace.

Week of February 19th at Peabody Elementary

  School is in session Monday, February 19th.  While we’d all love Presidents’ Day off, the bell will ring on Monday in all Shelby County Schools!

Saturday, March 3rd is the Half Pints for Half Pints fundraiser! Get your tickets now and urge family/friends/colleagues to attend. This raises thousands of dollars for our school! Buy tickets here.

The Peabody Post: Week of February 5th

🖐  AR Toy Store Volunteers Needed for Wednesday, February 7th. We just need a few more volunteers to make this a big success! Especially at the noon hour. Help make our kids favorite little Toy Pop Up Shop big fun. Just sign up here.

🎨 Club Day this Wednesday, February 7th. If your child is in club, she’ll be ready for pickup at 4:30.

📝 Parent/Teacher Conferences. It’s coming up February 15th from 4-7pm. Please check your child’s folder to see if his teacher is scheduling appointments or call the front desk at 416-4606 to schedule an appointment.

If your child is already in Peabody’s Optional Program, you must renew each year. Just go to this link to renew
