This Wednesday all Peabody Eagles and parents are invited to join the Walking School Bus! We will meet that morning and walk/roll to school together on our very awesome Walking School Bus!
When: 7:30 am, Wednesday, October 2
Teachers will meet students at this intersection, and we strongly encourage parents to walk with their kids! This is a part of an international movement to encourage more children to walk to school.
You already know Peabody has awesome, dedicated teachers, but did you know how truly inventive they are?
They want our kids to LOVE reading, so they’ve dreamed up a way to make it extra fun! Just try to think of a more magical reading experience than sitting in a park … listening to books … under the starlight!
Join Ms. Barringer and Ms. McMillen for a great night at Peabody Park (the corner of Cooper and Higbee.) It will get your child excited about reading and points for AR!
Note: This is a fun night for child AND parent. No drop-offs, please. We promise — you’ll want to share this night with your kiddo.
Make sure to mark your calendar — no school on FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH!
This is a District Learning Day and class will NOT be held district-wide.
If you want to make sure you have all the dates for this semester, check out Peabody’s school calendar
Interested in learning more about the Peabody School Garden? Have ideas to share?
Come join us for an informal meeting on Thursday, September 12, at 4 p.m. in the Peabody library.
We’ll have the opportunity to hear from Lauren Bangasser, the farmer at Grahamwood Elementary, who will share her ideas for school gardens. Let’s imagine together what our garden can be!
