Back to School Message from Peabody Principal Kongsouly Jones

Screen_shot_2013-01-02_at_3

As we welcome 2013 and the second semester, our thoughts and prayers go out to all
affected by the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary. Although our nation currently
wrestles with how to best stop senseless violence in our communities, our
continued goal at Peabody Elementary will be to provide your child with both a
safe and positive learning environment while at school.

We will conduct a refresher training of our 2012-13 Safety and Emergency Plan with all staff and we will practice the proper procedures for emergencies
through our monthly scheduled drills with students. We would like to remind
parents that they must sign in at the front desk with identification to receive a
visitor’s pass after being buzzed in at the front doors.

We would like to thank you for your continued support by following our school-wide procedures in ensuring the safety of our school, students and staff.
