Shelly Thomas
Shelley is mom to a new Peabody kindergartener and a Cooper Young resident. She brings years of experience in communications, event planning, and enjoys spending time with her family and most outdoor activities, specifically running! Shelley currently works for Literacy Mid-South in Cooper Young and is happy to be a part of helping adults learn to read and write.

Veroncia Butler
Veroncia Butler is a proud mother to Peabody third grader, Ava Butler. She has served as Peabody PTA secretary for 3 years. Veronica has 20+ years office administration experience in various industries. She is currently an administrative assistant and regional data support specialist for the Tennessee Early Childhood Training Alliance (TECTA) at Southwest TN Comm. College. She has an associates of Applied Science in General and Financial Office Administration and an A.A. in Spanish from Southwest. She graduated from the U of M with a BA in African and African-American Studies. Veroncia is a Dance Mom and Girl Scout Assistant troop leader. Her hobbies include photography, scrapbooking, crocheting, movies, travel, and sports.
